Donny Osmond was a teenage heartthrob in the early 70's. Andy Williams became enamored with him and his brothers and became frequent guest performers on his variety show. He also performed duets with his sister Marie, starring in the Donny and Marie Show. Marie let us know that she was "a little bit country" and Donny proclaimed to be a little bit "rock and roll." The show was a resounding success, running for four years. In the late 90's Donny and Marie would repeat their success in the self named talk show. He appeared in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat (both stage and video versions) in the part of Joseph, setting the standard for the role.
Throughout his career Donny has released 54 albums. His latest: What I meant to Say was in the United States in January, 2005. A single from the album, Breeze on By, has already charted at number 8 in the the United Kingdom where the album has already been released. Donny is married and resides in Utah with his wife Debra and children.
